Terms of Service
Terms of service.
Last updated: July 29, 2026
These terms cover websites and related services from Edgar Limon, doing business as Ventura Custom Websites . By hiring me or using this site, you’re agreeing to them. They exist so we both know exactly where we stand, the same reason the pricing page has no fine print.
The service
I design and build custom websites for local businesses, with no page limits and no revision limits. We work together until you’re happy with the result. Every build includes a custom design, a free logo, Google Business Profile and Yelp listing setup, and SEO-friendly, AI-ready structure.
Pricing and payment
- Pay in full: $1,950 one time. 50% deposit to begin, 50% at launch.
- Pay monthly: starting at $130/month for 24 months ($100 toward the $2,400 build total, $30 for the care plan). You can put any amount down to lower the monthly build portion, and you can pay the balance off early at any time.
- Hourly work on an existing site is billed at $70/hour.
The guarantee
If we finish the build and you’re genuinely not happy with the final result, you get your money back. That’s the whole guarantee, no asterisks. It applies to the build itself; months of care plan service already delivered aren’t refundable, because that work (hosting, edits, monitoring) has already been done.
The care plan
The $30/month care plan covers hosting, security, backups, monitoring, and unlimited quick edits by text. On the pay-in-full option it’s optional but recommended. On the monthly option it’s part of your payment while you’re paying off the build, and optional after that. You can cancel any time with a text; if you cancel, you’re responsible for arranging your own hosting, and I’ll help you move.
Who owns what
Once the build is paid in full, the website is yours: design, content, domain, all of it. If you’re on the monthly plan, I retain ownership of the site until the build total is paid off. Your logo is yours to keep either way. If you walk away mid-build, you keep what you’ve paid for proportionally, and we part as friends.
What I need from you
Websites need materials: photos, text, business details, and timely feedback. You agree to provide content you have the right to use, and that anything you give me (licenses, photos, claims about your business) is accurate and legal. I’m not responsible for content you supply.
Acceptable use
I don’t build sites for anything illegal, deceptive, or harmful. I reserve the right to decline a project for any reason, in which case anything you’ve paid for work not yet done comes straight back.
Liability
I build carefully and host on reliable infrastructure, but no website or host can promise 100% uptime or that nothing will ever break. To the maximum extent the law allows, my total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid me in the twelve months before the claim. I’m not liable for indirect damages like lost profits.
Changes
If these terms change, I’ll update this page and the date at the top. Changes apply going forward, never retroactively to work already agreed.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute we somehow can’t resolve over a phone call will be handled in the courts of Ventura County, California.
